$5,000 Scholarships Available for HBCU Students

The deadline for this scholarship opportunity has passed.

UMHEF offers several $5,000 scholarships to students attending or planning to attend one of the country’s Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCUs) that are United Methodist-related. These institutions include:

• Bennett College
• Bethune-Cookman University
• Claflin University
• Clark Atlanta University
• Dillard University
• Huston-Tillotson University
• Paine College
• Philander Smith College
• Rust College
• Wiley College

Eligibility

• Be attending or planning to attend a United Methodist-related HBCU
• Be a member of a United Methodist Church for at least one year
• Be in good standing with the college/university
• Must have a GPA of at least 2.5
