2023 Annual Review

As I retire at the end of June 2024 and reflect on my thirteen years as President and CEO of the United Methodist Higher Education Foundation, I am reminded that our work is—above all else—a relational and connectional ministry. What a privilege it has been to be a part of it!

This impact is made possible thanks to countless relationships with donors and United Methodist partners. Friendships and connections have made it possible for us to award over $28 million in scholarships that helped 13,200 students attend UM-related schools during the last thirteen years! What a blessing.

UMHEF’s ministry is of great importance to the future of The United Methodist Church. It continues to be very important that we grow and develop our programs for the benefit of our United Methodist institutions and students alike. I am confident the foundation will continue to impact students, their families, the Church, our educational institutions, and our global community for many years to come.
