Application Deadline Extended!

Paying for college is harder than ever, but you don’t have to go it alone. Students now have until March 20, 2026 to apply for scholarships from the United Methodist Higher Education Foundation.

An extension has been granted to allow students more time to take advantage of opportunitites for financial support to attend United Methodist-related colleges, universities, and seminaries. (View the list of schools recognzied by the UMC University Senate.) Awards are open to those who meet the following requirements:

• A full-time member of one of the following denominations for at least a year before applying: The United Methodist Church, AME Church, AME Zion Church, CME Church. If a student’s church has disaffiliated from The UMC, they may also apply for consideration.
• Strong preference is given to students attending a UM-related school.
• Other criteria may apply.
