UMHEF Opens Its Search for New President & CEO

The United Methodist Higher Education Foundation’s Board of Trustees is seeking its next President/CEO. Interested and qualified persons are invited to apply by February 15, 2024.

UMHEF’s President/CEO provides organizational leadership, personnel and fiscal/investment management, and visionary institutional planning while representing the Foundation to higher education institutions, churches, partnering organizations, and the public. The search follows the retirement announcement of Robert Fletcher who has led the Foundation since 2011. Fletcher’s retirement will begin with a sabbatical leave on June 30, 2024 before officially stepping down by the end of the year. The new President/CEO will ideally assume leadership on July 1, 2024.

UMHEF is a private non-profit 501(c)3 organization based in Nashville, TN with the grand vision to make it financially possible for qualified students to attend United Methodist-related institutions of higher education. Annually, the private non-profit foundation awards $2+ million in scholarships to nearly 1,000 students.
