Bob and Martha Forrest
It is with fondness and an appreciation of lives well lived that the UMHEF community gives thanks for Bob and Martha Forrest, who passed away in 2022 and 2024 respectfully. Their legacy lives on through intentional plans they made within their lifetime to make higher education possible for Methodist students.
In addition to them both being longtime supporters of the work of UMHEF, Bob served as a trustee since 2017. During his time with the foundation, he passionately supported United Methodist students seeking higher education. With particular interest in students within his home state of Georgia, Bob and Martha advocated tirelessly to raise funds and awareness through the Martha Forrest Scholarship Fund. The lives of many students have been impacted in countless ways through his work, for which we are profoundly grateful.
